South African Installation & Warranty Requirements

For warranty compliance, all inverters and batteries must be installed by a qualified electrical wireman or Master Electrician with valid registration with the Department of Labour.

A valid Electrical Certificate of Compliance (COC) must be issued for the installation of the solar or backup power system. The installation must comply with SANS 10142 and all applicable parts.

Warranty claims may be rejected where the required installation photos, valid COC, and proof of installation by a qualified wireman or Master Electrician cannot be supplied.
